Notice

The article Caritas Junior College has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Conducted a search. Not obviously notable. Has had no sources for almost 10 years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Wikidata proposal - Archaeological Site Reports (Japan) site ID

[edit]

Should we create a Reliable Source list?

[edit]

I think WP:JAPAN needs a localized RS list where we can discuss and compile reliable Japanese sources. Though, WP:A&M/RS and WP:GAMESOURCES exist, we should have something for generalized topics. I created and compiled this list, which is an incomplete list of sources I often use. Any thoughts? Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 14:36, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Looks very good; though I need to make some grammar fixes. Let's move this to the project namespace. ミラP@Miraclepine 15:38, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Miraclepine: I've moved it, Here's the link. I think we should add unreliable sources here and tagged them as such Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 16:55, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Names

[edit]

For explaining the names, do we point out the family name (like Yoshihiko Noda or the order of the name (like Shigeru Ishiba)? If we do choose to point out the name order, I think it's redundant to include the romanization in the lead paranthesis (like Yoshihide Suga)?, since it's already mentioned on the hatnote. Also, many Japanese BLP don't even explained which name is which as well as the order, which I think should be necessary to explain 183.171.114.164 (talk) 16:07, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, article like Momo Hirai opt for explaining both 183.171.114.164 (talk) 16:11, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello there IP, Based on WP:JTITLE, it depends, if known english sources uses Family first, we follow it, if Given name first, we follow it, But in case of no english source talks about a person, If none of the above is available, default to the modified Hepburn romanisation (with macrons) and Japanese name order. Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 16:59, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, a discussion has been started here about the possibility of a new authority control parameter that would facilitate the addition of Japan-specific wikidata properties to be results; this would then return, eg, a link to Japanese Architecture and Art Net Users System in authority control. Here are (some/all of) the Japan-related properties at the moment, so that we can formulate a list of those to be added if and when this is approved/implemented; thanks, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 09:32, 14 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

There's an ongoing discussion regarding the inclusion of the executive producers on the Mashin Sentai Kiramager article. It can be found at Talk:Mashin Sentai Kiramager#Executive producers. Feedback from project members would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 00:55, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
